Marine Database Description

Data were received by A.P.Karpinsky Russian Geological Research Institute in frame of projects: State Geological Survey of the eastern Gulf of Finland bottom (scale 1:200 000) in 1984-2000 (Reports: Moskalenko P.E. et al. (1990). Geological survey of central part of the Gulf of Finland (scale 1:200 000). Sheet O-35-IV. VSEGEI; Fedorov S.M., Moskalenko P.E. et al. (1995). The dataset includes 6630 sampling sites, i.g. garb-samplers and box corers - 5670, gravity corers - 1870, vibrocores 383, Niemisto cores – 10 and 535 single channel seismic profiles accrued with different source types (pinger, boomer or sparker) with total length around 8 287,6 kilomiters.
