Forgotten episodes in the history of Geolcom–VSEGEI 1920s and 1930s

Describes episodes in the history of the Geological Committee (Geolcom) and his successors lost in anniversary editions VSEGEI 1982 and 2000. Analysed the difficult relationship of these organizations with city agencies, leaded by the chief of the Geological Department of the USSA by I.M. Gubkin. Shows the key role of D.I. Mushketov in conducting in 1937 of the 17th International Geological Congress in Moscow. Describe as an unrealized project of the Assotiation of VSEGEI and VIMS and moving the joint institute in Moscow.
