New data on the Neva River formation based on the results of sedimentological studies in the eastern Gulf of Finland

High resolution sedimenthological study of the sediment core from site F40 (Eastern Gulf of Finland) allowed to establish and date sediment layers, formed under the different conditions of postglacial basins during last 6000 years. New data about the time of the Neva river onset were received.
