Silurian of the Irkutsk depression

Local stratigraphic scheme of the Silurian of the Irkutsk depression is revised. The Kezhma and Yar formations are considered as invalid ones. The Balturino, Rassokha and Deshima formations are proposed instead. Comprehensive lithological characteristics of the new stratigraphic units, their stratigraphic position and dating based on first finds of ichthyofauna associations are presented.
