Acting Director, Centre for Deep Geophysics
Ivan Kudryavtsev graduated from St. Petersburg State University majored in geology.
He began his professional activities at the Polar Marine Exploration Expedition. He took part in field exploration of the Expedition on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, in Antarctica, as part of the 49th Russian Antarctic Expedition, where he studied metamorphic complexes of the crystalline basement of the East Antarctic Platform.
Mr. Kudryavtsev has been working at VSEGEI since 2005, and since 2012, in the Department of Regional Geophysics and Geophysical Mapping, where he was engaged in geological interpretation of geophysical data. Since 2015, he was the Deputy Director of the Centre for Deep Geophysics; since 2017, he is the Acting Director of the Centre for Deep Geophysics.
